Welcome to Jeff's Big Bike Trip

Jeff's Big Bike Trip is a solo bicycle adventure traversing the length of South America, starting in southern Argentina and ending in coastal Venezuela. Jeff is currently in La Paz (as of May 8) taking a bit of a breather after completing 2/3 of the journey. Jeff has endured many hardships such as fierce headwinds, bureaucratic climbing-permit BS, and some nasty rashes.

In addition to massive amounts of bike riding Jeff has also been climbing the highest peaks in Chile. Jeff has made a successful summit ascent of Aconcagua (6960 meters) and made a heroic solo attempt of Ojos del Salado (6890 meters) in blizzard conditions.

Pictures are here!!

Cruise through the trip reports to find pictures of Jeff in some crazy places.
